Eli insists on walking these days. He doesn’t want to be carried, oh, no. He has fits when you try to lift him into the car, or carry him up the stairs at daycare pickup. But see, here’s the thing. He insists on walking even though … he doesn’t walk. This all happens while you’re holding his hand, or maybe he insists on being put down so he can cruise along with his little walking wagon. But he refuses to take more than two or three solo steps at a time. That is, he refused until yesterday, when he decided maybe he’d figured it out:
We’ll keep you posted. I ordered him some big-boy shoes, just in case (although so far he screams bloody murder if we try to put anything other than his fabulous Robeez on him).
