Ok, I’m trying to get a more complete list of the words Eli currently says. Forgive the repeats! This is just the easiest way to count. 🙂

No
Yes (this is extremely rare)
daddy
up
down
cat
quacka (cracker)
apple (almost constant usage)
hot (he will also use “num num num” to ask for food)
whoa (when he hears a loud noise)
uh oh (usually when he “drops” something)
wayoo and sometimes “waduh” (water)
sausage
bathtime
outside
shoes
socks
book
bock (box)
boo (as in, he hides his face or hides behind a door, then peeks out and says, “boo.” He also uses this when he sees a picture of a cow)
eyes
walk
wash
cat
all gone
kiss
mine
on (like when he goes up to his cool new Casio keyboard, points at it, and says, “on”)
Sentences:
I want ball (most of his nouns come with “I want,” like book, cat, bock, quacka, etc.)
I want bottle
I want that
I want see
It’s the cat
What’s that?
I want down

And the other night, Justin got him to repeat “mommy,” but it didn’t involve looking at me, and he hasn’t said it spontaneously since. Usually when he wants me, he says, “I want that.”

If you’re bored with all these words, pictures are here, from our bi-annual “friends and family day” with Erik and Val, Marc and Elaine, Lindsey and Tim, and the herd of offspring.
