He seems to double his intelligence with each day. Unfortunately he becomes exponentially more difficult each day.

Eli had several great parties, including a lot of fun running around Robert’s Park in Oakland with all his friends until he was ready to fall asleep while swinging.

We found that the loud music seemed to exponentially increase the hyper-ness of the children, though, so it was really more of an “eating and chasing bubbles” party. The hardest part of the whole thing was keeping Eli’s hands out of the bubble machine:

A good time was had by all, mainly thanks to copious amounts of ice cream (and cake and cupcakes):
